Bright and bold? No way. The Chromatic Collection presets aren't as aggressive about brightening the image as the F series presets are. C4 is clearly desaturated, especially blues. Overall color balance is a bit warm with bluish shadows. And with the loss of saturation, the brightness increase tends not to be noticeable. C5 is very warm overall.
In general, the blues are cranked way down, leaving an image that tends to be noticeably brown. Sky blues survive and can make an interesting counterpoint. Other colors are noticeably toned down, about the same as the F2 preset.

So many people were telling me that they were manually setting grain to 0 that I went ahead and made that the default.
Looks like I forgot to update ACR, whoops! They all alter the same settings. There is no need to reset in between use.
The Reset is just there for your convenience. You can use them on both Mac and PC. The installation process is as bit easier on a Mac, but still pretty easy on PC. Mine only downloaded as lightroom files. I switched the files to open with photoshop but they are still not opening in photoshop. When I open the folder it comes up blank?
